Information You Provide Directly
Search Queries
When a name or date of birth is typed into one of the search tools on this site, that entry is sent directly to the third-party provider running the search. That provider processes it and returns the results. We do not log or retain what you type into those tools on our end.
Messages You Send Us
An email sent to us is kept so we can respond. It stays within our team and is not shared outside our organization unless the law requires it.
Information Collected Automatically
Loading any page on this site causes our servers to record a handful of technical details:
- The IP address your device used to connect
- Browser type and version
- Device type and operating system
- Pages viewed and time spent on each
- The referring site, when there is one
- Timestamps tied to each page view
Cookies and Analytics
Cookies are used on this site: small files stored on your device that let us see which pages get traffic and where visitors tend to leave. Analytics tools help aggregate that data. Browser settings let you block cookies at any time, though parts of the site may behave differently as a result.
How This Information Gets Used
- Keeping the site running and loading at a reasonable speed
- Routing search requests to the correct partner service
- Identifying which pages are useful and which need improvement
- Diagnosing and fixing technical problems
- Serving ads that may align with visitor interests
No Warrant Data on File
This site does not host, compile, or sell any database of warrants or personal warrant information. It publishes general guidance about where Adams County warrant records are kept and how to check them through the sheriff's warrant unit, the county's courts, and Natchez Municipal Court. We are not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act, and nothing collected from visitors is assembled into a consumer report or a record about a third party.
Third-Party Search Partners
The search boxes on this site are run by outside companies. Whatever is entered into those tools is handled under that partner's own privacy policy, not this one. Each partner sets its own retention and sharing rules, which we do not control. Review a partner's policy before running a search through it.
Links to Other Sites
This site links out to sheriff's office pages, court portals, legal aid organizations, and third-party search tools. Following any of those links takes you off this site, and from that point the destination's privacy policy applies. Read it before entering any personal information there.
Some advertising partners track activity across multiple sites to serve targeted ads. That tracking happens on their systems, not ours.
Who May See Your Information
Personal data collected here is not sold. It may, however, reach:
- Search partners handling queries run through this site
- Analytics providers used to measure traffic and performance
- Ad networks placing advertisements on these pages
- Law enforcement or government bodies, when a valid legal order requires it
How Information Is Protected
Standard security practices are used to safeguard what is collected here, though nothing connected to the internet can be made completely secure. We take reasonable steps to protect this data, but we cannot guarantee a breach will never occur.
Visitors Under 18
This site is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has submitted information to us, contact us and it will be removed promptly.
Your Data Rights
Depending on where you live, Mississippi law may provide additional rights over your personal data. At minimum, you can generally:
- Request a copy of what is on file about you
- Ask that inaccurate information be corrected
- Request that your data be deleted
- Opt out of certain kinds of data processing
Changes to This Policy
This privacy policy may be updated from time to time. Any revision appears on this page along with a new effective date, so check back periodically to stay current on how information is handled here.
